Help with Nodori.
Nodori is in a private beta, so you are talking to the people who build it. Check the fixes below first, and if they do not help, write to us with the log and we will look into it.
What Nodori needs
- macOS 26 or later on an Apple Silicon Mac.
- Tailscale installed and signed in on every Mac in the team. Your tailnet is how Nodori finds people.
- Camera, microphone and screen recording permission, which macOS asks for on first use.
- During the beta, the TestFlight app, which delivers new builds.
Common fixes
- Nobody shows up in the menu
- Open Tailscale and make sure it is connected and that your teammate's Mac is on the same tailnet and running Nodori. Nodori lists only Macs that are on your tailnet and have the app open.
- No camera or no screen in the call
- Open System Settings, Privacy & Security, and check Camera and Screen & System Audio Recording for Nodori. Errors also appear at the bottom of Nodori's menu.
- The call connects but video takes a long time to start
- On some networks a call takes a few seconds to connect. If video never arrives, an outbound firewall such as LuLu or Little Snitch may be holding Nodori's connections until you approve them.
- Captions say the speech model is downloading
- The first time you turn captions on, macOS downloads a speech model. It only happens once per language.
- You are shown as busy when you are not
- A Focus on your Mac shows you as busy to your team. Turn the Focus off, or set your availability to Online from Nodori's menu.
Send us the log
Nodori writes one log on your Mac. In Nodori's Settings, under Diagnostics, Show Logs reveals it in Finder. It records what the app did during your calls, and never what was said. Attach it or paste the relevant part into the form below.
